Ghanaian singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known as Shatta Wale has revealed his biggest regret in life.
In a recent interview with BBC’s Stefania Okereke, the successful dancehall singer said not becoming a lawyer is his biggest regret in life.
He noted that his success in music does not bring him the fulfilment he would have attained as a lawyer.

The self-acclaimed “African Dancehall King” said: “My biggest regret in life is that I didn’t become a lawyer.”
He further revealed that he is still contemplating the possibility of becoming a lawyer. He lamented that “when I make enough money. I know I’m a successful musician, but I wanted to be a lawyer.”
Shatta Wale is one of the biggest singers in Ghana and is one of the biggest dancehall singers in Africa. He has collaborated with some of the globe’s biggest artists such as Beyonce, Major Lazer, and more.
It is surprising to see an artist willing to trade the fame and money for a career in law. Without a doubt, Shatta Wale is earning more than triple the amount he would have earned if he were a lawyer.
