Shatta Wale has a habit of riding trends to stay relevant, and he had plenty of opportunity to do so during the second leg match between Ghana and Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs, which took place in Abuja.
The boss of the ever-vociferous Shatta Movement remarked, in a blatant sarcasm served cold on his humorous plate, that now that Ghana has pushed Nigeria out of the competition for the World Cup in Qatar, there’s no way their artistes will teach Ghanaian artistes how to win a Grammy.
According to him, Nigerian mainstream artists such as Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy own the keys to the Grammys, but he is concerned that they would not teach the connections to that massive stage after the Black Stars broke their hearts on Tuesday evening.
Of course, he said all of this to mock the Nigerians after celebration erupted after Ghana advanced to Qatar after winning the match at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium.
