Yul Edochie pens note to Davido following his plans to quit music

Nollywood actor turned clergyman, Yul Edochie has admonished Afrobeat singer, Davido not to quit music.

Glamsquad reported that Davido vowed to quit music, noting how many want him out of the game so badly. Succumbing to them, he promised to quit the industry after his next album so they could have peace.

His statement sparked division among many, with some pleading for him to stay, while others criticized him for adopting a victim mentality.

In response, Yul Edochie advised him not to entertain trolls, highlighting how they often target remarkable individuals who consistently make headlines.

He questioned why he would retire for them, emphasizing the singer’s significance as a blessing to Nigeria and Africa. Yul urged him to continue contributing, asserting that those who harbor resentment will never cease their negativity.

He wrote,

“Retire for who?
Retire cos of trolls?
When God made you great?
Trolls will always troll great people.
Great people, steady making headlines.
You’re a blessing to Nigeria, to Africa.
Keep giving us hits.
Losers will never stop hating.
Tell them, DIA FADA!

BOMBARDIER!!
001.
@davido”.
