Apple is likely to deliver the second generation AirPods Pro in 2022. According to the latest images, the “AirPods Pro 2 housing” will be exactly as small, glossy, and white as its supposed predecessor. More images of the device’s back and sides, however, reveal something new: a built-in lanyard attachment, whereas the peripherals would have required an additional cover or bumper to provide this level of usefulness.

Apple has introduced a new version of its AirPods, and the accessory is now available.

7’s Pro equivalents are expected in 2022. According to rumours, they will introduce a completely new design, potentially without the trademark stems. The most recent images purportedly showing the next generation TWS earbuds do not confirm that notion, but they do reveal some new and potentially useful tweaks to the charging technique.

However, and perhaps more importantly, the “new” casing, as pictured above, includes drilled holes on either side of the USB Type-C charging port, similar to that of a phone. According to MacRumors, the outlet that shared these graphics, they are for Find My’s unique on-board support.

As a result, the AirTag technology might be used in this scenario as well. MacRumors, on the other hand, confesses that their source for this fresh leak, known only as “Xerxes,” doesn’t have many confirmed tips on its identity to date.
