Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeats singer, Wendy Asiamah Addo, better known as Wendy Shay has written a note to her colleagues in the Ghanian music industry.
According to her, her colleagues should thank their Nigerian counterparts for bringing the world’s attention to Africa.
The 26-year-old further stated that Nigerians made the move possible through afrobeat and charged higher colleagues to “wake up”.
She tweeted;
“Ghanaian Artistes Should thank Nigerians Artistes, For bringing the world’s attention to Africa …through Afrobeats.
“Ghana wake up!
