Sophia Bush revealed her queerness in a heartfelt essay in Glamour and also confirmed her relationship with retired U.S. Women’s National Team soccer player Ashlyn Harris.
In the cover story for the fashion magazine, Bush expressed her frustration about the need to come out in 2024, stating, “But I’m deeply aware that we are having this conversation in a year when we’re seeing the most aggressive attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community in modern history.”
She highlighted the alarming number of over 500 anti-LGBTQ bills proposed in state legislatures last year, which inspired her to give the act of coming out the respect and honor it deserves.
