Music producer, Kehinde Emmanuel better known as Napji has called out Afrobeats singer, Davido over unpaid royalties.
According to Napji, produced the songs “Fem“, “Jowo“, and “Sunlight” for Davido’s 2020 album, “A Better Time”. He stated that he is yet to receive the necessary compensation for his contributions.
According to Napji, he was initially provided an advance payment of 500,000 naira for each song, yet he is still awaiting the outstanding royalties and publishing fees.

In a statement shared on his social media handle, Napji announced his intention to disclose further details about the situation as he endeavours to collect the payments owed to him.
“I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing”
Taking to his Instagram comment section and his Twitter page, Davido responded to him with “Your papa”.
This isn’t the first time Davido has been called out over unpaid royalties. Recall that the si ger and Dammy Krane have been at loggerheads.
