2023 Election: Caroline Danjuma Emerges As AAC Deputy For Akwa Ibom Governorship Candidate

Glamsquad reports that Nollywood actress and ex-wife of billionaire businessman, Caroline Hutchins Danjuma has followed the footsteps of her colleagues, Tonto Dikeh and Funke Akindele as she delves into politics.

The Real Housewives of Lagos reality TV star took to her Instagram page to announce the good news to her fans as she vowed to serve and honour in loyalty and truth to Akwa Ibom and Nigeria.

She wrote,

“To serve and to honor in loyalty and in truth to Akwa Ibom and Nigeria. So help me God”

According to the political flier she shared, The African Action Congress (AAC), Akwa Ibom State chapter, unveiled her as the running mate to its governorship candidate, Iboro Otu, in the 2023 general elections.

AAC is the political party of Omoyele Sowore, founder of Sahara Reporters and the presidential flagbearer of the party.

According to the party, the 35-year-old mother of one was chosen based on her exemplary life, love for humanity, leadership ability and commitment towards the betterment of Akwa Ibom communities especially and Nigeria in general.

Glamsquad recalls that Tonto Dikeh was unveiled as deputy for governorship candidate, Tonte Ibraye of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State; While Funke Akindele was unveiled as the deputy for governorship candidate, Abdulaziz Olajide Adediran better known as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State.
