Popular Nigerian on-air personality Nedu Wazobia has alleged that most women in the Nigerian film industry owe their fortunes to men.

Nedu, who has established a reputation for his controversial views on topics, made his claims during an episode of the “Honest Bunch’’ podcast.

The skit maker also disclosed that most women who appear in his skits are eager for the opportunity so that they can showcase themselves to his rich male friends, who ask for their numbers.

Nedu said:

“70% of them (women) in the movie industry, what they have, na chairmen dey give them.’’

He further disclosed that these men who find the female entertainers appealing, go as far as taking them on expensive vacations. Nedu went further to note that he does not have a problem with men flexing with women in the industry, but finds it irritating that most of these women lie about it.

It will be recalled that the media personality once called out the Big Brother Naija female stars and claimed that they have nothing to offer rather than looking out for rich men who see their beautiful looks on television.

He said:

“Many people go to BBN because they are hungry. Do you realize what Big Brother can do for you? It takes you from low to high, but there is no substance to keep you there. The majority of them have vagina to offer. “They go there on purpose to get customers.”

Nedu is not the only popular figure to criticize the female housemates of the show. Former Big Brother Naija winner Whitemoney has also called out female participants of the show for failing to utilize the opportunity it presents.
