Former BBNaija star Simply Tacha has shocked Netizens with the price of her outfit to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) which took place over the weekend in Eko hotel, Lagos Nigeria.
The mother of one revealed she acquired her outfit for $100,000 which is equivalent to 120 million in Nigeria currency. The dress which was designed by @abbaswoman.ng and styled by celebrity stylist, @medlinboss has left many talking.

During an interview with popular content creator Timi Agbaje on the red carpet at the event held on May 11, 2024, she revealed the price of her outfit.
Agbaje inquired, “You wore a $20,000 outfit to the AMVCA last year. How much did this one cost?”
Following her response, Agbaje asked, “In Naira or dollars?” to which Tacha chuckled and retorted, “It’s $100,000 or nothing.”
A curious X user asked, “I’m curious, who pays for celebrities’ dresses at events like these? Do the celebrities buy the dresses themselves, do designers lend them the dresses, or is there some kind of arrangement where they share the cost?”
Other X users expressed disbelief, one said “Which kain lamba be that?? Cloth that can’t pass 200k,” and another person commented, “You paid $100k for a dress?”

The outfit which is an all-white stoned dress with the floating bust design on her shoulders, laced with flowing cape and a matching bust handbag.
