Kylie Jenner dropped the dewiest bomb on Friday when she officially announced the launch of her previously unconfirmed yet somehow simultaneously highly anticipated skin-care line, Kylie Skin. We were told we would have to wait until May 22 to start shopping, but we weren’t told what we would get to shop for when that day comes. But luckily, Jenner isn’t making us wait any longer to see what the debut collection includes.
On Saturday morning, the new Kylie Skin Instagram account posted a photo of the bottom of a bottle of Foaming Face Wash, surrounded by lather and with the simple caption “first step. 💦.” At the time, it seemed Jenner might be launching only a cleanser at first, or perhaps she would be revealing only a little bit of each product as we approached the launch date. But then, to many eager followers’ delight, the entire group of initial offerings was revealed on Saturday evening.
A very pink, very short clip of six products being splashed with what looks kind of like strawberry Nesquik was posted, along with the caption “the skin set 💕 introducing Kylie’s skincare essentials and your new skincare routine: foaming face wash, walnut face scrub, vanilla milk toner, face moisturizer, vitamin c serum and eye cream. the end goal? beautiful, glowy, healthy skin.” Calling it “the skin set” seems to imply that the products will be available as a bundle, and the next post confirms both that and the individual prices.
According to the caption posted with a flat lay of the products, the Foaming Face Wash will be $24, the Walnut Face Scrub will be $22, the Vanilla Milk Toner will be $22, the Vitamin C Serum will be $28, the Face Moisturizer — perhaps the “top-secret” moisturizer Kris Jenner was hinting at? — will be $24, the Eye Cream will be $20, and the full set goes for $125. (Though we can’t help but notice what appears to be a seventh, unnamed product in a little pot — maybe a not-yet-ready lip balm?)
