JUDITH AUDU ARRIVES TORONTO FOR THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2016

Top Nollywood actress Judith Audu Foght whose first attempt in the line of film production with the Movie Just Not Married which was directed by Patrick Uduak Obong and written by Olaniran Aisida with the award winning film maker Oluseyi Asurf behind the camera was amongst the TIFF top 5 African film selection for this year, Just Not Married was premiered at Genesis Deluxe cinemas with top film makers like award winning Kunle Afolayan in attendance.

The movie was a box office hit in cinemas as it went ahead to disprove movie critic’s prediction that movies made with low budget and unknown faces don’t make it in cinemas. Just Not Married was amongst the top 5 african movies like Niyi Akinmolayan’s Arbitration, Omoni Oboli’s unreleased movie Okafor’s Law, The wedding party and Daniel Oriahi’s Okon ashewo which were all selected as the African films to be screened at the 41st Toronto International Film festivals 2016 at TIFF Soiree, Canada.

Ahead of their theater movie tour and screenings which kicks off tomorrow Wednesday 8th – 18th September 2016, some of the film makers posted pictures of their arrivals at Toronto ahead of their big day. Omoni Oboli posted a picture of her arrival on her facebook page two days back while others are still expected. We wish them a wonderful experience in the beautiful city of Toronto Canada as they keep making Africa proud and putting our films back on the map.
