Veteran singer, Eedris Abdulkareem has tagged singer, Folarin Falana better known as Falz as the only conscious one among the new generation artists.
In a recent podcast interview ‘The Honest Bunch, Eedris was asked which new generation artist he would like to collaborate with, he mentioned Falz.
According to him, Falz’s music resonates with reality and as such, it has a high tendency of longevity. However, other artists must make music every three months today in vogue.
He said
“I plan to collaborate with any new generation Nigerian artist that is conscious enough. Yes, Falz.
“Falz is the only conscious artist in this new generation. Who else? If your music is not adding value, no matter how far it goes, I don’t give a damn, because the lifespan is three or four months. You will have to do another song to replace that one. But when the song is evergreen, it will always be evergreen.”
When asked how he would love the new generation to remember him, ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner said,
“For the truth that I stand for.”
