Nigerian singer, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare better known as Jaywon has shared his views on the ongoing conflict between Burna Boy and veteran rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, labelling them both as arrogant.
Glamsquad recalls that Burna Boy criticized Eedris regarding his health condition in response to Eedris’s recent remarks on the podcast. Burna Boy accused Eedris of blaming those who contributed to Eedris’s kidney transplant.
In a swift reply, Abdulkareem characterized Burna Boy’s wish for his death as “truly saddening and very disappointing.”
Weighing into the rift, Jaywon argued that Burna Boy was simply emulating the behaviour of Eedris Abdulkareem. He suggested that due to Abdulkareem’s arrogance, the veteran artist has not received the recognition he deserves for his significant contributions to the Nigerian music industry.
On his X page, Jaywon tweeted,
“Eedris has contributed a lot to the Nigerian music industry, was he applauded for that, NO and it was all because of his arrogant behavior and that’s exactly what Burna too is doing so when I say ‘what goes around comes around’ is actually for the both of them! Las las everybody go collect. Na just time!! Ire ooo!”
