Veteran Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem has voiced criticism towards Burna Boy while proclaiming Davido as the true king foundly called Odogwu in the realms of hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeat.
In the snippet of a yet-to-be-released episode of podcast interview ‘The Honest Bunch’ anchored by OAP Nedu, Eedris Abdulkareem criticized Burna Boy, emphasizing that he isn’t living up to his self-proclaimed title as ‘Odogwu’.
He criticized Burna Boy for a statement he made years ago, where Burna claimed that none of his senior colleagues had helped him in the music industry.
Burna expressed frustration, stating that no one in the Nigerian music industry had ever supported him, as musicians were primarily focused on their own endeavors or criticizing others’ accomplishments.
