Chef Dammy’s spiritual leader, Pastor Adegoke has filed a 20-million-naira lawsuit against her, days after she called him out on social media.
Glamsquad recalls that a few days back, Chef Dammy made some startling revelations about the pastor who had sponsored her Cook-a-Thon, an attempt aimed at ousting Hilda Baci’s record.
In her post, she informed everyone that she felt unsafe and that they should blame her pastor if anything happened to her.
Reacting to Chef Dammy’s public outcry, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke has taken legal action against her.
Through a letter from his legal representatives, the pastor expressed his astonishment at what he perceived as a defamatory remark made by the chef.
He asked for the retraction of the damaging statement and demanded a payment of twenty million naira (20,000,000) for compensation.
According to reports, the strained, relationship between Danny and Pastor Adegoke comes from financial disagreement.
An insider claimed that Chef Dammy’s freedom was limited after she participated in the cookathon. The event organizers allegedly confiscated her phone and ATM card, rendering her unreachable to her friends and family via phone calls or social media messages.
A source from the church revealed that she felt restricted and longed for her previous life, where she had more personal freedom. Moreover, it was disclosed that Chef Dammy had reservations about joining the cookathon from the beginning, and it was Pastor Adegoke who strongly urged her to take part.
