Super star, Davido was live on ‘The Daily Show’ with TV host Trevor Noah, where he discussed his WRBLO tour in the United States, as well as his father’s reaction to his $250 million pledge to orphanages.
Since his last appearance on the show, the music star and Noah had a lot of catching up to do, and a section of his conversation went viral on social media.

In the video interview making the rounds on social media, Davido spoke on his much-anticipated We Rise By Lifting Others (WRBLO) tour.
He also gave a narration of all that happened during his last birthday and how his simple joke yielded cash gifts from his colleagues and supporters.
The Singer recalled how he reached out to his Billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, for advice after he raked in over N200 million and he was told to give the money to charity.
Davido equally used the opportunity to debunk rumours that he pocketed the cash instead of fulfilling his promise to give it to orphanages in the country. According to him, it took a lot of verification and groundwork to ensure that the donation gets to the right quarters.
