TUBO is an emerging womenswear label, best known for her creativity in redesigning the traditional African bridal attires, chic prêt-à-porter fashion clothing, and distinctive haute couture pieces with amazing silhouette.
She came into the Nigerian fashion scene in late 2014 when the Creative Director, Sandrah Tubobereni switched from her career in Finance and business development.
Her vision is to change the world through fashion and make “TUBO” a multi award winning global brand present on the international runways and high streets as well as wardrobes of stylish women and celebrities.
The Tubo woman is bold, sexy and empowered. She is the perfect blend of fragility, femininity and strength. She carries herself with grace as she strides to achieve anything she dares to without fear of failure. She is unapologetically in a different class of her own.
This year at the AFWN runway, TUBO will be featuring her first ever offering “Lé premieré”, a cohesive collection that communicates a visual metaphor between the Fragility, Femininity and Strength of women. The collection is inspired by the acknowledgement of who the #TUBOwoman is and how experiences have evolved her through and over time.
Portraying her thoughts using different Color Palettes, Designs, Texture and Construction, this debut line up commits itself to the art of telling its story with wearable garments that personify the TUBO woman as one with a penchant for beautiful garments that evoke more that just aesthetic but GRACE!
