One of Nigeria’s fashionistas and celebrity stylists, Toyin Lawani has revealed reasons why her first daughter, Tiannah is dark-skinned.
Toyin who is light-skinned and the mother of three children took to her Instagram page to share a reel of her daughter, Tiannah and disclosed that they won’t trade dark skin for anything else.

This is a pointer that they are two different people and would not trade not change skins. Her comment on her video comes as an answer to those questioning her.
She wrote,
“When they say why is TIANNAHS child so black, I’m like I’m not TIANNAH, My name is Toyin, she is TIANNAH and we won’t trade that black skin for anything else”.
Glamsquad recalls that Toyin Lawani unleashed an independence day outfit that got Netizens talking.
Lawani who refers to herself as the ‘King of Fashion’ released semi-nude pictures on October 1st to mark Nigeria’s sixty-second Independence day.
One would agree that the world of fashion comes with top-notch creativity and Lawani proved beyond imagination that she would go to the extreme to show how much creativity lies within her.
In the pictures released, the fashion goddess used a Nigerian flag in what looks like a velvet fabric to wrap a part of her body while revealing the other part where one of her thighs, breasts and abdomen are exposed.
She compliments her design with a necklace, a pair of gladiator sandals, an African skin design and a pose like that of the ‘Statute of Liberty’.
Lawani also penned a note of praise for the Nigerian women for their hardworking spirit and charisma. Read here
