In 2021, she rose to prominence after appearing in Africa’s most popular reality show, Big Brother Naija.

In 1992, Maria was born into Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Agueze’s family. She is of the Igbo ethnicity and is from Imo State in Nigeria’s South East area.
