Maison Valentino Runway Show for Paris Haute Couture Week Spring Summer 2023

Valentino Haute Couture SS23 which was displayed on 26 January, at 4.30am Singapore time was remarkable as always as the fashion house went full action mode on the designs which where produced.

As trendsetters, no design from previous fashion show were displayed as the creative fashion designer, made sure to come from a fresh angle to leave his loyal customers impressed and I must say, I’m impressed.

Piccioli’s prior collection paid homage to Garavani and his eponymous house, but spring/summer 2023 appears to go in a different route. As expected a more lighthearted and humorous approach to the clothing that incorporates recognizable house cliches in the collection dubbed “Le Club Couture” were made.

Consider the use of sequins, organza, and chiffon in modern evening attire, as well as the profusion of feathers on a variety of headpieces and outerwear. Fashion enthusiasts have gotten accustomed to seeing Valentino’s distinctive cadmium red, as well as vibrant tones of pink, purple, and yellow, on the runway and bleeding onto the coats and gowns that have made Piccioli famous.
