Hollywood actor, Lance Reddick is mourned by his loved ones after passing away unexpectedly on Friday at the age of 60.
“Lance was taken from us far too soon,” Stephanie Reddick, the late actor’s widow, wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday. “Thank you for all your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the last day. I see your messages and can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them.”
According to his agent, Mia Hansen, Lance Reddick, a seasoned character actor best known for playing Cedric Daniels on “The Wire” and for his work in the “John Wick” film series, passed away from natural causes.

At her eulogy, his wife expressed her appreciation to all that showed their support.
“And to the thousands of Destiny players who played in special tribute to Lance, thank you. Lance loved you as much as he loved the game,” Stephanie Reddick wrote.
She requested that contributions be given in his honor to momcares.org, a nonprofit assisting moms and families in Baltimore, where he was born and raised.
