Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress and former deputy candidate for governor of Lagos state on behalf of the People Democratic Party, has opened up on working on herself.
The mother of two described how she is adjusting to losing the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election in a post on Instagram that included a motivational quote.
Funke Akindele said that she is improving herself for her own sake and not for the benefit of anyone else.

“‘I am working on me, for me’. Work on yourself to be a better version of yourself.”
