It isn’t a Harry Styles performance without a boundary-breaking fashion moment. The musician’s retro-influenced look is talked about as much (if not more than!) his music. And when he takes the stage he ups the ante in custom pieces with swagger. At the Jingle Ball in London over the weekend, Styles delighted the crowd with a preview of his new album, Fine Line, and an outré look from one of menswear’s rising new stars. The custom glitter denim shirt and matching jeans by Spanish designer Archie Alled-Martínez reflected both Styles’s love affair with vintage and the current desire for clothing beyond binaries. Sparkling and worn unbuttoned down to the waist, the outfit added sensuality to the pop star’s repertoire of high-waisted pants and novelty sweater vests.
