Heraldic artist and manuscript illuminator, Andrew Jamieson designed the invitation with the motif of the Green Man, an age-old figure from British folklore representing spring and rebirth, to commemorate the new reign.

The invitation’s exceptional design incorporates various symbolic elements of the UK and the royal family, featuring the Majesties’ arms, emblematic flowers of the UK, and a wildflower meadow with British wildlife.

The design was hand-painted in watercolour and gouache and will be reproduced and printed on recycled cards, with gold foil detailing, for the 2,000 guests.
