Funmi Iyanda is one of the most popular broadcasters in Nigeria. Aside being a broadcaster, She is also a movie Producer, blogger and philanthropist. She is widely recognized accross the length and breadth of Africa.

Bio data

The popular philanthropist was born on July 7th, 1971 in Lagos State. She was bread and butter in the same State.

She studied at Herbert Macaulay School in Lagos. She graduated with a bachelor degree in Geography at University of Ibadan.

Career

She started journalism work at a very tender age. She is one of the prominent reporters that covered 1999 female Football World Cup, All Africa Games, in year 1999 and 2000 respectively.

She is the current Chief Executive Officer of a London based media outlet, Oya media. She has hosted many popular shows in and outside the country.

Many of her shows usually appeared on Television in Africa. She is the former CEO of Ignite Media and imparted wholeheartedly in the growth and development of the brand.

Between the year 1995 to 2003, she was part and parcel of Nigerian Football Association.
