Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has retaliated against his colleague, Jaywon after being criticized by him in an interview.
Glamsquad reported that Jaywon had labelled the statement from Odumodublvck and Burna Boy that no one paved the way for them as madness.
He addressed those who argue that being inspired by someone is not the same as them opening doors for you, questioning how individuals can learn from others if they haven’t paved the way first.
Furthermore, he criticized Odumodublvck, expressing his fondness for the singer but labelling his song as trash. He then posed a question, asking how Odumodublvck would react if an upcoming artist from Abuja claimed he never paved the way for them. Read here
Taking to microblogging platform, X, Odumodublvck mocked Jaywon and noted that this behaviour is why Ayra Starr rejected his handshake, to prevent him from claiming he paved the way for her in the future.
Reiterating his stance that nobody paved the way for him, he advised the singer to focus on hustling, highlighting his belief that the singer’s music lacks substance.
