The family of the late Nollywood actor JohnPaul Odonwodo better known as Junior Pope has announced the funeral arrangements for his burial.
As stated in the actor’s burial poster, the Burial proceedings will begin on April 23 with a requiem Mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State.
Another requiem Mass is scheduled at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A, Enugu on May 13. Following the requiem masses, commemorative events have been scheduled to honour the late actor.
On May 14, an evening of tributes and candlelight will be held at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu, starting at 5 p.m. Following this, on May 16, a wake will be held at his country home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, located in the Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of the state.
The final rites will take place on Friday, May 17, starting with a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Ukehe, followed immediately by the interment ceremony at his country home.
Concluding the proceedings, a thanksgiving mass is scheduled at the same church on May 20 to commemorate and celebrate the life of the beloved 39-year-old actor.
