Nollywood veteran actor, David Osagie has been laid to rest in his hometown in Igbanke, Delta state.
The actor who died on Tuesday 3rd, May 2022, hours after filming on a movie set.

The sad news was brought to light by his colleague, Ngozi Ezeonu on Wednesday the following morning via her Instagram page, she wrote;
“Good morning fam, I hate to say this but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood? Oh Lord have mercy. Rest in peace Sir Dave.
I Mourn again oh I mourn ooh This life shall, it’s all but once. Nothing dey to fight or kill body for.”

However, on Friday 10, June 2022, Mr David was laid to rest. The actor died at age 52.
Actresses Ebele Okaro as well as Ngozi Ezeonu can be seen in the photos. Ebele wrote:
“We showed up to pay our last respect to our colleague Sir David Osagie Osifo. May his soul rest in perfect peace Amen.”
