Osun State Election: Portable Under Fire As Davido’s Uncle Wins

Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable has come under fire following the defeat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun State.

Glamsquad recalls that Portable had campaigned for Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the All Progressive Congress (APC), while Davido was campaigning for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke for People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Davido who was displeased with Portable’s support for his uncle’s opponent unfollowed him on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC formally declared Davido’s uncle the winner of the election.

The INEC Chief Returning Officer for Osun, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, who announced the result Sunday Morning said the PDP candidate scored 403,371 votes to emerge victorious.

The runner-up was the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who pulled 375,027 votes.

Following the news, Portable is currently trending as Netizens dragged him for what they tag as a betrayal on Davido’s path.

Glamsquad recalls that Portable had earlier indirectly slammed Davido for unfollowing him after he campaigned for APC

According to him, his father wasn’t a rich man, and he was hustling for his own money; thus, he is trying to make money for himself.
