“If people don’t like you, your chances of winning are slim” – Timi Dakolo breaks silence on Osun election

Glamsquad reports that Timi Dakolo, a popular singer, has stated that elections in Nigeria have changed because rigging has become more difficult.

Dakolo stated that the amended 2022 electoral act, which will be signed by President Muhammadu Buhari sometime in February 2022, is a significant achievement for Nigeria.

 

 

According to him, only candidates who are popular with the electorate will win because the chances of winning if the electorate does not like you are “SLIM.”

He announced this on Twitter as the results of the Osun governorship election show Senator Ademola Adeleke winning.

 

“This electoral act that @MBuhari signed is actually a big plus for Nigeria,” he tweeted. Rigging will be difficult if people protect their right to vote.

“Your chances are slim if the people don’t like you.”
