International super star, David Adeleke known for his stage name Davido has gone down to Osun State to begin his campaign for his uncle, Adeleke for the fourthcoming Governorship election.

Adeleke who is a candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP) was declared the winner of the primary held at Osogbo City Stadium in March, under the supervision of Deputy Governor of Bayelsa, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Davido who has been a proud supporter of his uncle took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to congratulate him, he wrote;
“IMOLE CONGRATS. CONGRATS OSUN,”
In another post, Davido wrote: “UPPERCUT @ademolaadeleke_01.”
To help the party prevail in the state’s governorship race on July 16, Ewhrudjakpo asked all other candidates to work with the victor.
Adeleke stated in his acceptance speech that there was “no victor, no vanquished” in the primary election.
