Wizkid, the Afrobeats singer, is seen in the video placing a boundary between himself and Tems as they perform Essence together in order to avoid repeating what happened the previous time.
Recall Tems embarrassed Wizkid a few months ago when they performed their popular song Essence and he tried hugging and lifting her up.
Wizkid and Tems were playing on the same stage, but he was careful not to collide with her, and it appears he didn’t want to go near her at all as he attempts to avoid her.
Some netizens reacted by saying that it’s a case of “once bitten, twice shy” since Wizkid doesn’t want to be embarrassed by Tems like she was months before when he tried to show her love after their performance and it was disastrous.
