Exquisite fabrics, vibrant prints, and details were a highlight of the Erdem Spring Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection.
The collection which was presented during the London fashion week incorporates different designs and styles of dresses. Corsets styles were a highlight which the fashion house portrayed beautifully.
For its spring-summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection, the fashion house presented a collection inspired by history. The collection took cues from museum restoration and the creative director’s historical proclivities.
For Erdem Moralioglu, history has always been a source of inspiration for his collections. The collection which was presented during the eye of the Queen’s funeral also showed the fashion house paying tributes to her Majesty.
Some models walked the runway in a full white veil giving off a bride vibe while some gave off a funeral vibe with a black veil. Another highlight of the Erdem collection for spring and summer 2023 is the shrouded black bar jacket and a long skirt that opened the show and pays homage to Queen Elizabeth who was a source of inspiration for the fashion house over the years.
The designs of the fabric were highlighted by faded brocade, tea-stained cotton faille, and jacquard remnants which also gave a romantic appeal to the collection.
The last moments of the runway show witnessed three models walking in full-skirted ball gowns and fully veiled in black tulle. The Erdem Spring Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection is full of creative designs.
