Kevin Spacey, an Oscar-winning actor, is on trial for sex offences; the jury has been dispersed to begin deliberations.
The 63-year-old Hollywood celebrity is accused of nine offences, including sexual assault, that are said to have occurred between 2001 and 2013.
On Monday at 12.45 PM GMT (3.45 AM PT), Mr. Justice Wall sent the jury outside to deliberate.
Each of Spacey’s four accusers has testified during the high-profile trial at Southwark Crown Court, calling him variously a “vile sexual predator,” “slippery,” and “atrocious, despicable, disgusting.”
Three men were allegedly the targets of “aggressive” crotch grabs, and a fourth man claimed the defendant drugged him and engaged in sex with him in his apartment while he was dozing off.

When questioned by Patrick Gibbs KC, the attorney for Spacey, the men all denied trying to get rich off the case, advance their careers, or give the jury false information.
Spacey himself labelled the allegations against him as “madness” and a “stab in the back”, and told jurors he “did not have a power wand that I waved in front of people’s faces whenever I wanted someone to go to bed with me”.
The movie star denies seven counts of sexual assault, one charge of coercing someone into having sex without their consent, and one charge of coercing someone into having penetrative sex without their consent.
High-profile witnesses for the defence included David Furnish, Chris Lemmon, the son of Jack Lemmon, and Elton John.
