From a struggling acting career to one of the most recognized actor cum producer in the industry right now, Nollywood actress and film maker Judith Audu – Foght seeks out to inspire many through her rise to stardom as she was over the weekend presented an award for her contributions to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry in the ancient city of Benin by the EY Theatre Group.
The members of the group made the presentation after staging a Theater Play titled A Walk in the Past at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Center l.
Founder of EY Theater, Eddy Young, and his team awarded several key industry players.
Making the presentation, Young described Judith Audu as a role model stating that he has been following all her activities.
Receiving her award, the actress said that she is excited about it especially as it happened in her home state. She applauded the young thespians for their work stating that she is humbled to be presented with such recognition.
Only recently, her movie, Just Not Married was nominated nine categories in the upcoming Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards including; Best Director (Uduak Obon-Patrick), Best Screenplay (Lani Aisida), Best Lead Actor (Stan Nze), Best Lead Actress (Judith Audu), Best Supporting Actor (Rotimi Salami), Best Editing (Oluseyi Asurf), Best Cinematographer (Fayo Festus), Most Promising Actor (Rotimi Salami), as well as Best Comedy categories.
