Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition gets November 11 launch date

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be released on November 11 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher.

The bundle, which includes Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, was announced earlier this month after numerous rumors about it.

The trilogy will be released digitally on November 11th. If you want a tangible copy, you’ll have to wait until December 7.

On October 22, 2001, the genre-defining Grand Theft Auto III was released, permanently changing our image of what an open-world game could be. Today is the 20th anniversary of its release, and it’s a suitable day to reveal the trilogy’s release dates.

The Definitive Edition, according to Rockstar, will include new GTA V-inspired modern controls as well as overall visual improvements such as resolution upgrades, a completely rebuilt lighting system, improved shadows, weather, and reflections, upgraded vehicle and character models, higher resolution textures, and more. Players may also notice new vegetation, smoother surfaces, and longer draw distances, but Rockstar has stated that it has taken great care to preserve the environment.

Rockstar has released a new teaser for the trilogy, emphasizing the numerous graphic enhancements that prospective owners may expect.

Interested parties can pre-order the trilogy for $59.99 on their preferred platform starting today. There don’t appear to be any pre-purchase incentives this time around.
