'Nigerians didn’t believe he would win' Do2dtun reacts to Anthony Joshua’s victory against Ngannou

Media Personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode better known as Do2dtun has reacted to the victory of Nigerian British boxer, Anthony Joshua against Cameroonian and French boxer, Francis Ngannou.

Glamsquad reported that Anthony Joshua, a two-time knocked out Francis Ngannou in the second round of their boxing bout in Saudi Arabia on Friday night.

In the opening round, Joshua landed a powerful right hand that sent Ngannou to the canvas. Following that, he knocked down the former UFC heavyweight champion twice more in the next round.

The second knockdown left Ngannou unconscious, resulting in a definitive victory for Joshua.

Reacting, Do2dtun stated that many Nigerians doubted Joshua’s chances of winning the fight.

The OAP disclosed that he had informed his friends that boxing is a technical sport, emphasizing that just because Francis knocked out Fury doesn’t guarantee his victory against Anthony.

Encouraging Nigerians to strive for improvement, he pointed out how success tends to attract many supporters, while failure often leaves one alone.

He wrote;

“Be honest, so many Nigerians didn’t believe Anthony would win this fight. I did. I said to my friends, “Boxing is technical & just cos Francis knocked out Fury who I still think hasn’t fought a good contender doesn’t mean he will beat Anthony” We need to do better

Success has a lot of family members:

  • Failure is an orphan. Such is life but I’ll rather choose one with my full chest.

Let’s stay one place. He didn’t shout us out but do we truly deserve it?

Tonnes even bet against him.. chai Naija for show”.
