Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-winning British artist, has spoken out about his encounter with Nigerian singer and frequent collaborator Burna Boy’s smoking incident.
In the latest episode of Conan O’Brien’s Needs A Friend, the ‘Shape Of You’ singer described stepping into the studio and being bewildered by the smoke pollution caused by Burna Boy’s smoking.
He claimed that was the most cannabis he had ever seen somebody consume.
“There’s an artist I work a lot with named Burna Boy,” Ed Sheeran stated. I’d say he is… That’s the most cannabis I’ve ever seen somebody consume.
“He came to the studio, and I had a late-night gig.” And it was quite calm in there [the studio], with the door closed.
It was just smokes, smokes, smokes. And I remember walking in there to get a thing. It felt like I was not quite there [laughs].”
