Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner recognized popularly as Zoro Swagbag is a Nigerian musician, composer, performer and rapper. He is popular for his native rap, often in the Igbo language. Zoro was born on March 20, 1990 in Onitsha, Anambra state. Zoro infuses the Igbo Indian language into his rap, styling it with impeccable flow and delivery. Its lyrics are heavily imbued with Igbo, a language spoken in eastern Nigeria and one of Nigeria’s three main languages.
CAREER
Zoro started his career as a musician in 2010. Nonetheless, he rose to importance after disclosing O42, Otu, Ogene and Achikolo, which featured popular Nigerian musicians Flavor and Phyno. In 2016, Zoro released Ogene, which featured Flavor. He then released Gbo Gam Gbom with Flavor and Phyno later in 2016. Zoro accommodated Simi on his hit sole Stainless in 2018 and Mayorkun on the single “Two” in 2020. He featured Oxlade in African Girl Bad in 2021. The track was produced by distinguished music producer Masterkraft. He has operated alongside several Nigerian artists including Phyno, Flavor, Umu Obiligbo, Chike, Mayorkun , Jeriq, Mr Eazi and many more.
