Abubakar Malami was born to Late Hon. Khadi Malami Nasarawa and Halima Malami in Nasarawa, Nigeria. From 1973 to 1979, he received his early education at Nassarawa Primary School in Birnin Kebbi, and then went further to College of Arts and Arabic Studies.

Before starting his personal legal practice, he worked as a state counsel and Justice of the Peace in Kebbi State, as well as teaching law at Usman Dan Fodio University.
He was also the defunct Congress for Progressive Change’s National Legal Adviser (CPC).
But it’s worth noting that Abubakar Malami is a type of person who worked hard to develop All Progressive Congress in President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign throughout time.
