The Ikorodu Bois is a online comedy group from Nigerian that duplicates and emulates multi-million-dollar music vids, Hollywood movie trailers, and grand photos. The group started in 2017 when Babatunde Sanni decided to partake his expertise with the world through social media. In an interview with CNN, Sanni said”I allowed to myself, ‘These effects we do in our house, why do not we start putting them online?’ He added that “ our house is like a comedy house, we play too.”
PRODUCTION
Hollywood directors The Russian Brothers invited Ikorodu Bois to watch the Extraction 2 movie premiere after the group replayed the movie trailer and launched it on Twitter and Instagram.
In April 2020, American actor and rapper Will Smith participated a clip of Ikorodu’s Boise-enactment of Bad Boys Ever on his Instagram runner with the caption”Its genius@ikorodu_bois!!”.
Morte, who played the part of professor in the movie Money Heist, said”What an unbelievable job” after watching a mimics of the Spanish series.

Ikorodu Bois also made linebackers with vids of DJ Cuppy, Davido, Funke Akindele, the American actor, and WWE star Dwayne”The Rock” Johnson, Roddy Rich, Justin Beiber, and Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari.
They also made a valedictory statement to NBA star Kobe Bryant shortly after his death. In April 2021, they shared a Netflix brand crusade over Oscar weekend, which debuted in Time’s Square in New York. The period before, they had entered footage from Netflix.
