Social media sensation, Ikorodu Bois from Nigerian will be special guests at the premiere of ‘EXTRACTION 2’ after their remake of the trailer of ‘EXTRACTION’ was recognized by writers of the movie.
The Ikorodu Bois gained notoriety for remaking scenes from famous music videos and Hollywood films. Scenes from shows like Bad Boys for Life, Money Heist and other pieces of entertainment are recreated scene by scene by only using household items.
The latest video from the Ikorodu Bois is a reenactment of the Netflix original movie ‘EXTRACTION’ which stars Chris Hemsworth. The video which has gone viral with over 1.5 million views on Twitter caught the attention of writers of the movie, The Russo Brothers.
Reacting to the video, they wrote:
“This is awesome! We would love to have you guys at the #Extraction 2 premiere…DM us and we’ll get you there!”
Writer, Joe Russo in May 2020 confirmed that he had closed the deal to write Extraction 2. It’s unclear if the script will serve as a sequel or prequel to Extraction or when shooting will begin.
The creative efforts of The Ikorodu Bois have previously been recognized by ‘The Professor’ from Money Heist and given them a more than half a million Instagram followers and fans that include LeBron James.
The Ikorodu Bois — brothers Muiz Sanni, 15, Malik Sanni, 10, and their 13-year-old cousin Fawas Aina — have become Instagram sensations by using everyday household items to recreate multimillion-dollar music videos and Hollywood movie trailers, shot by shot.
Muiz and Malik’s big brother, 23-year-old Babatunde Sanni, edits the videos and manages the trio. He is responsible for turning something that started as a bit of fun into what the boys hope will be careers in the entertainment industry. Back in 2017, he decided the boys’ handiwork deserved to be shared with the world.
