Nigerian rapper and songster- songwriter Vector the Viper was born Olanrewaju Ogunmefun in Ogun, Nigeria. He’s the fourth of five children.

The philosophy graduate who’s presently subscribed to the GRAP label is the voice behind the Sprite commercial that has been running on utmost Nigerian radio stations since 2009. 1. Vector the Viper was born as Olanrewaju Ogunmefun in Ogun, Nigeria. He’s the fourth child of five siblings.
2. He schooled at Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Government College Victoria Island, and St Gregory’s College.
3. He formed a pair called “ Badder Boiz” in 1999, and they started writing their songs and continued to perform at numerous events and musicals.
4. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Lagos.
5. He’s the voice behind the Sprite commercial, which has vented on utmost Nigerian radio stations since 2009.

6. He released a single called” Get Down” which featured 2Face Idibia in 2011. The single was released. It was named Best Mainstream Hipsterism Hop Videotape at the Nigerian Music Videotape Awards 2011.
7. He released his third single named”Born Leader”, which featured Jamaican artist Mavado. The single eclipsed several music and radio maps, both locally and internationally.
8. In August 2013, he was introduced by Pheelz in a song called”Popular” which was broadcast extensively on radio stations in Nigeria. His rap style has been compared to rapper Jay-Z.
9. He has toiled with well-known names like DJ Xclusive, Timaya, Mavado, Seyi Shay, Wizkid, Ice Prince, 9ice, 2Face Idibia, and Oritse Femi, to name many.
10. He has won multitudinous awards including Recognition Award at the Dynamix Youth Awards 2012 and thereafter Stylish Rap Single and Stylish Lyrist On The Roll at Headies Awards 2015.
