Pastor Sam Adeyemi is a pastor, founder of Daystar Christian Center in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also the President of Success Power International. Pastor Adeyemi was born on February 3, 1967, in Odo-Ere, Yagba West, Kogi State, to the family of Chief S.B Adeyemi. Sam Adeyemi holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering from Kwara State Polytechnic.
In 2011, he earned a Masters’s degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Exeter. In 2017, he earned a Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, Virginia, USA.
CAREER
Before founding his church, Pastor Adeyemi was a pastor at Rhema Chapel, Kwara, alongside his younger brother, Victor. He was appointed pastoral director by the head of the church, Reverend George Adegboye. He then became responsible minister before being posted to Lagos. In 1994, Pastor Adeyemi had a vision that led him to establishment of Daystar Christian Center alongside his wife Nike Adeyemi.

The first Daystar Christian center was founded at the Chinese Eko Hotel on Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos in November 1995. He had difficulties in the early fastest-growing rich environment. However, today Pastor Adeyemi’s Church is one of the fastest-growing churches in Nigeria today. Aside being a pastor, Pastor Adeyemi is an author. He has composed many bestselling books, including “Success Is Who You Are” and “Dollar Parables”. Pastor Adeyemi is popular for speaking out against social ills. He spoke out against tithing and police brutality during the #EndSARS protest.
