Canadian rapper Drake loses $565,000 betting on Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk.
This marks another significant gambling loss for Drake. Before the fight, the rapper revealed on Instagram that he had bet $565,000 on Fury to win.
Had Fury won, Drake would have collected just over $1 million.
However, Usyk beat Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia to become the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in 24 years.
Usyk has now added Fury’s WBC title to his collection, which already includes the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.
Drake previously lost a six-figure sum on Anthony Joshua’s knockout win over Francis Ngannou, and another $700,000 when Dricus Du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland at UFC 297.
