Following the passing of Takeoff, there is obviously still a lot of animosity between Migos artists Quavo and Offset, and that animosity spilled over into a brawl backstage at the Grammys.
According to insiders at the event, Quavo and Offset got into a physical altercation and had to be separated shortly before Quavo went the stage to perform his song “Without You” as a tribute to Takeoff during the “In Memoriam” phase of the program.
Offset was requested to participate in the tribute by the Grammys, but Quavo refused. According to reports, Quavo prevented Offset from joining him on stage, which sparked the brawl.
At the time of Takeoff’s murder, Quavo and Offset were very close because Offset had broken with the gang. The song “Without You” by Quavo was written especially for Takeoff.
However, viewers of Sunday night’s event were disappointed to find that it was obvious Quavo and Offset had not reconciled since Takeoff’s passing.
