The fashion industry is the ultimate re-cycling industry and it’s no surprise that elements of style and trends usually come and go in seasons and cycles. Style staples from the 80’s are revamped by designers, while stylists and celebrities make the trend popular. Let’s review 2014 trends that have returned from the 80’s.
Crop Tops
Originally pioneered by Madonna in the 80’s, the crop top trend is no doubt back in season with every fashionista with the body for it rocking it like there’s no tomorrow.
Dungarees/Overalls
A style made available to British farmers as far back as the 70’s/ 80’s, revamped in the 90’s and back in 2014 as a style staple, the dungarees or overalls is a current trend to invest in; especially if you like to jump on the trend wagon.
Baroque Prints
Baroque prints made popular in the 80’s by Top fashion brand Versace is a bold and head lining print; now made popular again by Versace, and other high street brands and celebrities alike.
