Pastor John Anosike, the Senior Pastor of New World Faith Ministries has delivered a strong message to his church members and executives about their January salary.
While delivering a sermon in the church, the clergyman conveyed that their January salary, considered their first fruit, is meant for him personally and not for the church.
The pastor said he’s not worried about negative comments and repeated that their first salary is only for him. He explained that if they see him as their spiritual father, they should give him their first salary, believing it will bring them blessings.
Encouraging them to give it a try, he said that if they don’t experience blessings by the middle of the year, they can take their money back.
He said
“Your first-month salary is your first fruit of the year. It is for me and not for the church. I fear nobody and I fear no criticisms, if you call me your spiritual father, this first month’s salary which is your first fruit of the year is for me and not for the church. It is for the altar, vessel, which is me. It is for my welfare. If you honor me with the first fruit of your first year, in the middle of this year if you don’t testify come back I will give it back to you. You will deer wonders”.
