Why I borrowed Adekunle Gold’s clothes to perform at Davido’s concert — Pheelz

He revealed that he borrowed the suit from Adekunle Gold, a former YBNL record label member who was also in London for the concert.

This was revealed by the Finesse crooner on a recent episode of the F&S Uncensored audiovisual podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.

“I talked to Bhadest [Davido], David my visa don comot,” he said. He was like, Bro, if the next trip to London is available, take it. So I drove up. I wore the same outfit I wore to the visa office. I didn’t even pack my belongings. When I arrived in London, I knew AG [Adekunle Gold] was there, so I approached him and said, “Bro, come to save me.”

“If you look at the images from that show, you’ll notice that my hair was rough. I even skipped getting a haircut. Because it was AG’s fabric, my trousers were a little short. “I borrowed AG’s clothes.”

He stated that following his performance on the show, over 20 record labels approached him, but he chose Warner Music because it “felt like family.”
